Case Report of Shoulder Arthrodesis for Paralytic Shoulder

Abstract

|
|
Here the authors present two cases of patients with paralytic, shoulders, who had been subject to the surgical repair of shoulder arthrodesis. The procedure performed by the authors is the original Gills technic supplemented by two transartcular Kischner´s wires for internal fixation and proved to be satisfactory enough in improving the function of the affected shoulders for us to feel it justified to make this report. Brief discussion regarding the general aspect of shoulder fusion was attempted.
